Sponsor a Scholar for Expanded Learning

Support scholar’s participation in Expanded Learning programming that includes tutoring and activities that demonstrate our 5 Pillars of Success. Funding will support hiring tutors and program facilitators, healthy after school snacks, program materials, hiring of personnel for tutoring, and purchasing of Social Emotional Learning curriculum and materials.

Mentorship Program

Operation Progress Fort Worth (OPFW) partners with the Fort Worth Police Department (FWPD), and officers serve as mentors to scholars in the Como area. Our mentorship program provides families and scholars with an additional source of support, as well as contribute to improving police and community engagement. Funding will aid in field trips for mentors and scholars every 6 weeks, OPFW t-shirts to be worn on field trips and other OP FW outings, and transportation.

COVID-19 Relief

The impact of COVID-19 is still amongst us. We are accepting donations for COVID-19 relief for OPFW families which goes directly towards groceries, rent, and bills during these difficult times.
