Operation Foster / PACT

Operation Foster is a service of PACT for Animals, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing free, safe foster homes for the pets of military personnel on deployment and families experiencing a medical crisis. As a non-profit organization, PACT relies on donations to continue operations. Please consider supporting us!

Our work has saved the lives of over 5,600 pets and their owners by creating an alternative to shelter surrender for their owners.


How?

We personally match beloved pets with fully vetted foster homes. Each home is personally checked by an Operation Foster staff member or volunteer, and provides loving care for the animal while their owner is away on deployment or recovering from illness in the hospital.


We make sure each pet is in a safe and loving foster home until they can be reunited. We keep their pets out of shelters and provide peace of mind at no cost.
