• Farming Clubs Coalition Membership
Campaign Description

We, the Farming Club Coalition (FCC), keep our membership costs low to ensure they remain accessible to everyone. Because membership fees do not fully cover our expenses, we encourage those who can to consider making an additional tax-deductible donation using the donation link.

Annual Members:

  • Commit to forming or joining a farming club
  • Receive invitations to informative FCC webinars
  • Gain access to FCC templates for running a farming club
  • Freely share their own modifications of FCC templates
  • Promote FCC events to your club members and the public

Farming Club Coalition (FCC) Membership Agreement

By Donating and Paying Dues, I Agree to the Following:

Roles and Responsibilities of FCC

FCC will accept fees from farming clubs participating in the coalition. In exchange for fees, FCCs will assist independent farming clubs in a variety of ways, including:

  • Templates of key documents, such as membership agreements, club handbooks, marketing materials, and budgets
  • Access to a network of club leaders to share and learn from
  • Training on methods for communicating with novice farmers and how to effectively teach them practical skills
  • Grant-funding strategy discussions and access to apply for FCC grants (as funding allows)

Roles and Responsibilities of Members

  • Commit to forming or joining a farming club
  • Freely share their own modifications of FCC templates with other member farms
  • Promote FCC events to your club members
  • Accept that being on a farm and engaging in farming activities comes with risk

Membership Fees

Membership fees are required annually and are intended to cover the costs of administration. Fees to be part of the FCC are $60 per club.

Liability Waiver

Members acknowledge that being a member of the FCC carries certain risks, including the possibility of injury by any farming activities members decide to engage in. There are also risks associated with creating your own farming club, which is independent of the Farming Club Coalition. By paying dues, Members agree to assume all risks associated with participation on their own farms and independent farming clubs.

Members release FCC and its fiscal sponsor, Post Carbon Institute, from any liability related to injury, loss, or damage incurred while participating in voluntary activities or while utilizing templates, or suggested farming, administrative, or management techniques.
