Dear friends and family of the Proctorsville Fire Department,
Hopefully you received our THANK YOU from the last fundraising letter campaign. Let us again say THANK YOU.
Like so many things that have changed and required adaptation in the last few years, so too has our fundraising approach. This letter campaign, which began as a work-around during COVID because of our many lost fundraising events, has become a significant piece of our annual budget, which tells us one thing – YOU, the members of our greater family, are there for us to support our mission of keeping our townspeople and our neighbors SAFE.
This year, we have a GOAL OF RAISING $7,000. Our membership has grown to 27 members, perhaps the largest active roster in our history. We need 4 NEW SETS OF TURNOUT GEAR to outfit our growing roster of firefighters.
We also just recently retired 4 SCOTT SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) from service, which need to be replaced.
Please help us to keep doing what we do safely, efficiently, and effectively. This letter campaign is more about participation than it is about how much you give.
If you are willing and able, you can send a check, payable to the Proctorsville Fire Department, to PO Box 81, Proctorsville VT, 05153, or you can donate online via the “donately” link on Proctorsville Fire Facebook.
We are grateful for your support. Please stay safe and healthy and take care of one another.
Sincerely,
Chief Robert Glidden -- Proctorsville Fire Department
