This fundraiser is created by the faculty and staff of the University of Michigan Technical Communications Program. At the end of each year, we try to select a service or giving opportunity to benefit those in our community. This year, we are raising funds to support Project Night Night, a nonprofit that creates packages to support the emotional and educational needs of children experiencing homelessness. Our giving will go toward providing these packages in the Detroit area.

We chose $450 as our fundraising goal because it is approximately the amount of money to buy a blanket, toy, and book for 25 children who are experiencing homelessness in the Detroit area.
