Our work here at Project Parrots goes far beyond just the birds we can take in, but also reaches the many rescues and sanctuaries we work in conjunction with around the country as well as the birds we are able to transport to other facilities for proper care.

At Project Parrots, we work with parrots that have been deemed untrainable, unadoptable, too "stubborn", a lost cause, and worse. We focus on documenting the transformations of pet parrots in a way that connects humans and animals in an unparalleled way. Through training, patience, and guidance, we share their stories and journeys so that you can be inspired to work with your bird, your neighbor or friend's bird, or the bird you inherited and know nothing about.
We don't want parrots to just survive in captivity, we want them to thrive. Parrots can be amazing companions in the right environment and with the proper care. Please help us in our mission of saving parrots one person at a time, it starts with you.
