Introducing the Fifth Annual Pro Musica Youth Chorus OPEN MIC NIGHT Fundraiser. Your generous support this year has helped us continue to provide exceptional music education, scholarships, and a musical home to young people from the Western Suburbs. Most Oak Park Area elementary-age children do not have access to a chorus in school. PMYC is the only local organization filling this music education and performance opportunity gap for young vocalists. Our singers needed their Pro Musica family more than ever this year. During this pandemic year, PMYC is offering a hybrid of in-person outdoor rehearsals and online rehearsals, enriched by creative programming and virtual choir pieces. Open Mic this year will be virtual, with students using their new skills to record their own solo pieces!
