We all know someone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. In fact, 1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime (reference, Breast Cancer Facts). Some of our students, clients and staff have been diagnosed at some point in their life, making this cause true and dear to our hearts.

So for a multitude of reasons, we find this month to be extra special as we rally our Academy around a centralized cause to raise awareness and funds while trying to have fun along the way. The sense of community and giving back is a pillar of our Academy, so choosing to help a cause that directly affects our student population and clientele was an easy decision.
