SNAP is grateful for over 20 years of offering low-cost spay/neutering for less fortunate families in our local San Diego community. We are reducing the problem of pet overpopulation with your help. 1.4 Million Cats and 1.2 Million Dogs get euthanized in our shelters every year.

20 years ago, SNAP realized that we can't "adopt" our way out of this pet overpopulation crisis in America. The best solution to "no kill" shelters is to start with "no births".

Since then , SNAP spayed and neutered over 67,000 cats and dogs (and rabbits).  This is HUGE considering that 2 unaltered cats and their offspring can produce over 400,000 kitten in 6 years and 2 unaltered dogs over 67,000 puppies. 

With YOUR help, we were able to make a difference and reduce pet overpopulation in our area significantly.

Our original Neuter Scooter, our mobile spay/neuter clinic, is in need of mandatory repairs. After more than 60,000 surgeries, it's had a great run but we need to get it back on the road to serve more communities!
