If you know me, you know that I hate running. But I love St. Lydia's! I love it so much that I'm steeling myself to run MULTIPLE MILES on its behalf at the Roosevelt Island 5k on October 28. St. Lydia's has been my church home for around 3 years, and it's been a place of radical openness, beauty, and hope. It has helped me think critically about my faith, given me grounding rituals and experiences of God's peace, and challenged me to live in community.
