Ken Gourley (July 24, 1953 – July 2, 2021) was well known for over 30 years in the Sundance community as an energetic and joyful dancer. He shared his joy and laughter on the dance floor and as a West Coast Swing instructor! Ken had a great and positive outlook on life, and he was so generous in spirit. He was so looking forward to the reopening of Sundance Saloon post-pandemic in August. 

The Sundance Association for Country-Western Dancing brought Ken many years of happiness. The Sundance Association is an all-volunteer community-supported 501c3 nonprofit organization promoting country-western dancing in the LGBT+ community (but welcoming everyone). Since 1998, the Sundance Association has offered country-western dance lessons and dancing through its primary project, Sundance Saloon, the annual four-day country-western dance extravaganza, the Sundance Stompede, and many other special event projects.
