Starting March 28th, Sungai Watch founders Sam, Gary, and Kelly Bencheghib will run 1,200 km across Bali and Java in 57 days, turning endurance into action against the plastic pollution crisis.

As we look to expand our impact to Java, one of the most densely populated islands in the world, the urgency is clear. Its rivers carry enormous volumes of plastic waste into the ocean every single day. Without immediate intervention, thousands of kilograms of plastic will continue flowing downstream. We cannot afford to wait.

For 57 days, the founders will run across cities, villages, highways, and river systems to:

• Raise funding for river interception systems
• Expand clean-up operations
• Mobilize national and global support
• Turn endurance into environmental action
