On June 6, 2027, I’ll be taking on my first-ever triathlon—Escape from Alcatraz—with my cousin Emma. Together, we’re Swilly’s Most Wanted, raising $4,000 for Team Bright Side to support pediatric blood cancer research.
Our team name honors our Irish roots and our family’s connection to Lough Swilly in County Donegal, where we grew up swimming, cycling, and running during childhood visits. Now, we’re putting those activities together for a challenge that will push me well outside my comfort zone!
Knowing that my efforts can help support better treatments for children facing blood cancers gives every training session a greater purpose. Any donation, big or small, would mean so much to me. Thank you for supporting me and a cause worth going the distance for!
