Artistic Director Connor Shioshita Picket wrote a play exposing my secret hope to one day win a Pulitzer. In the play, someone asked me what moment in my life is closest to winning a Pulitzer, and I completely earnestly said that getting into this company is that moment. This company is my favorite place to be and make art.
We do this fundraiser every year, and without fail we have achieved our financial goal every year. This year will be no different. We will not teeter the line and "almost" achieve it. We will raise this money, WITH YOUR HELP, and keep this theatre running for another 37 years.
