In this season of giving many opportunities are available where we can reach out and make a difference. Carol and I participate in a few.
One that is very close to our hearts is the Prasad charitable giving platform:
"Helping Children Thrive."
Both Carol and myself have spent time in the Tansa Valley, in India's state of Maharashtra. We both were touched by the indigenous people of the area. As is true in most of the rural peoples of India, we were impressed by the resourcefulness and resilience, but we were really touched by the dignity and good-natured attitude that characterizes many of the regions Adivasi people. In most cases their struggle for livelihood is predicated by their daily struggle to for food and water.
This is where "Helping Children Thrive" steps in. We can too by contributing to this amazing outreach.
