Campaign Description

Hi everypawdy! Tanzie here! You may have noticed I’ve been a little quiet on social media lately, but that’s certainly not because it’s been quiet here at Tanzie HQ! Quite the opposite, actually, as my pack has taken in a foster friend, Mr. Rory! Unfortunately the past month has been more difficult than I expected…

Even with slow and structured integration, Rory continues to be anxious and unpredictable - he’s shown a sweet, adorable side, but then he’s shown aggression, mostly to my mommy and my sissy Bella - he’s even bit mommy twice. 😔 But he adores my cousin Maya (but really, who doesn’t?)

I know he’s a good boy deep down, he just needs to learn how to be a balanced dog. In hopes of him one day being able to be placed in the right family, I’d like to see if you all can help fund a board-and-training program for him.

My mommy reached out to fellow Bosnian rescue pup Sadie – Sadie and her mommy Jess run their own doggie training school, @Sadie’s Rules – and thankfully they think they can help Rory! YAY 🤩 Because it's a big job and will require Rory to live with them for several weeks, it’s going to be a bit costly… but I know it will be worth it. There’s hope for Rory - will you paw-please help?

$3,650 - Training Program

$100 - Donation fees, admin expenses, incidentals

TOTAL: $3,750

Rory was originally rescued off of the streets of Sarajevo, Bosnia in 2015, and was adopted to an American family living in Germany. He displayed these same behaviors several months after being in his new family, but evidently his behavior stabilized after help from a trainer. Rory's family moved to North Carolina, USA, in 2020, and due to a change in their living situation, could no longer keep Rory. He was surrendered back to The Tanzie Project in the beginning of January 2022.
