"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." -Martin Luther King.
“What is the point of being alive if you don't at least try to do something remarkable?” -John Green
Im tired of living like I'm in heaven when i know I don't deserve it. I was born into it. When there are over 1 Billion people who don't even get clean drinking water. To make things a bit more fair I want to sacrifice one day of my life, the day I'm supposedly supposed to be "special" and celebrate the blessings in my life when I can share them. This year the charity I chose donates 100% of proceeds and to their project called "Filters for Families " It's about providing clean water to families by using a filter they developed. $100 gives a person 25 years of clean wanter. All I ask is you give up one day of your heaven and donate a bit, maybe you don't get to eat out today and you decide to use the money for this instead of Tim Hortons or Subway. It won't kill you; hopefully, in an ironic way you find the suffrage feels liberating. -Arslan Azam
