For my Bar Mitzvah project, I am raising money for Thrive DC, an organization that helps the homeless. I started volunteering at Thrive DC in third grade, by serving meals with my friends, and I really enjoyed it. I care about Thrive because it is place where homeless people can go to eat meals, shower, do laundry and socialize. I feel it is important to help people who are less fortunate than we are.
