Now more than ever, funds are needed to ensure that 2SLGBTQIA+ folks have access to affirming mental wellness and harm reduction supplies, materials, and programming. Recent Trump forced policy changes have revoked access to federal funds for harm reduction programs. This is a major blow to grassroots organizations across the country diligently working to provide these vital services to our communities. Despite these challenges, RISE remains committed to continuing this essential work and ensuring our communities maintain access to harm reduction services.

The Youth Empowerment Fund plays a crucial role in supporting TQYC's RISE programs, providing essential financial resources that enable TQYC to develop and implement various youth-centered initiatives. These funds contribute significantly to enhancing the lives of trans and queer youth and young adults through mental wellness initiatives, harm reduction strategies, and greater access to valuable intergenerational knowledge. By investing in these areas, we create programs that center the wellbeing of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and young adults.
