Your donation will help provide boxes filled with food needed for a traditional holiday meal, along with supplemental food to feed a family through the holiday weekend.

Give Thanks food boxes will go to families in need throughout our nine county service area of Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Houston, Montgomery, Robertson, Stewart and Williamson counties.

Why It’s Important

The holidays are an expensive time for many in our community and can be especially difficult for families and individuals whose food budgets are already limited. Based on three meals a day, the average family of four receives $10.81 a meal through public assistance programs. The average cost of a traditional holiday dinner is roughly $85. That’s seven times the amount a family has available to spend on a single meal.

More than 100,000 people in our community don’t have access to enough food. Together, we can help relieve the burden on families this holiday season.
