On August 13, 2021, 80 brave Central Indiana philanthropists will rappel down 300 ft. "over the edge" of the 23-story high Keystone Group building in Downtown Indianapolis, to help raise funds for United Way's Basic Needs work in our community. 

The COVID-19 pandemic has forever changed our lives. But it hasn’t changed United Way’s goal of fighting poverty in our community, not only in times of crisis, but over the long-term as we continue to recover so that every individual, child and family in Central Indiana can reach their full potential. Our role in the community is more important now than ever before.

As a result of the economic consequences brought on by COVID-19, too many people have discovered what it feels like to have their basic needs disappear. Food, housing, health and transportation are essential to a person's well-being. United Way's Basic Needs Fund provides the essentials to our most vulnerable neighbors and life-saving assistance to those in crisis situations.
