Every year in Mwanza, Tanzania, the city holds the Rock City Marathon. Mwanza got the nick-name "Rock City" due to the large rocks jutting out of the lake waters that give it a very unique and beautiful geography. Since 2019 Wesley College staff and students have participated in the race and raised funds for Wesley College scholarships.

This year we want to join them. Join our Virtual 5k Run to support students at Wesley College located in Mwanza, Tanzania. You may run at any time between now and November 4, 2023--when the official Rock City Marathon will happen in Tanzania. 

Please enjoy this time to exercise, join together with another country, support higher education, and have FUN at your own pace and distance!
