I have been volunteering with WITS for five years now and have loved working with the students. Anyone who knows me knows I have always had a love for reading since I was a young kid. Growing up, I loved my school's summer reading programs, had a library card from a young age and always participated in the Barnes and Noble summer reading challenge.
Literacy is so crucial and the first step towards success for a child to learn more skills, apply to college and eventually start their career. Join me in raising money for De Diego Academy to ensure every child has their own books to read over the summer break.
A donation of $50 will purchase all the books for one student for the whole summer, so every dollar donated makes a difference!
Thank you for your support!
