As our family has grown over the years we recognize reading as a key factor in a child’s development and success over their lifetime. Through a close partnership between WITS and CPS, we have seen firsthand the way WITS builds confident readers and life-long learners through many programs tailored for each individual school. Having experienced our oldest child learn to read over the last year, our family has made the decision to further align with a program that emphasizes the importance of reading in Chicago schools. In addition to being a reading partner for over a decade, Jennifer has joined the WITS Associate Board as she believes wholeheartedly in the mission and witnessed the organization’s positive impact.
