This year's beneficiary for GYP's Holiday Happy Hour is Boy With a Ball!


Boy With a Ball's mission is to better cities by reaching and equipping young people to turn and transform their communities. They do this by bringing youth hope, in turn, lifting neighborhoods out of poverty.


What does this look like practically? It looks like Rehabilitation for street kids in Kenya, Youth Mentorship Programs in schools, Summer Literacy programs for economically disadvantaged communities, ESL classes, Summer Camps for youth, Tutoring centers in vulnerable neighborhoods, Scholarships, and mentoring relationships and small groups that help community members rise out of poverty.


How can I picture what my money will go towards?

$25 a month helps send 12 young people to tutoring for the year,

$65 a month buys snacks for 12 weeks of Velocity, our after school mentoring program,

$100 a month scholarships three young people to summer camp,

and a one-time $20 donation pays for a textbook for a student to go through English classes.
