Campaign Description

Learners Chess Academy's Learners Without Borders program is undertaking another chess education service trip abroad! 

This time, we are headed to the African Continent in early 2020! 

In January 2020, Coach Zach, a volunteer chess coach with Learners Chess Academy, will embark on a trip to the town of Kapsabet in Kenya, where he will partner with Joe Koech (Zach's long time friend from Albuquerque, NM) and educators at the Kapsabet Primary School to start a chess education program for the community’s youth!

Learners Without Borders is an outreach program of Learners Chess, an Albuquerque based 501c3 non-profit organization. The aim of any LWB trip is to plant a seed in a community where a passion for teaching and studying chess as a developmental tool for children will grow and blossom.
